Frequently Asked Questions
-
After an initial call to get to know your student’s strengths and needs, I’ll schedule our first 50-minute session (remote or in person). I’ll get to know your student’s interests while engaging them with something they enjoy (i.e. drawing, a game) and then will look at/discuss learning materials with them. After the session, I’ll develop a draft of proposed goals for us to work on over the following sessions and share them with you for feedback and approval.
Each session will include a check-in or warmup, a central activity to work on our goals, an option for a short break, and a wrap-up activity to reflect and track our progress. I will send you notes about your student’s session including observations and suggestions you may wish to consider at home.
I work hard to ensure that every student feels comfortable, safe, and engaged during our learning time! I strive to ensure that parents are also benefitting from each session they pay for. -
Individuals: $110/session
Siblings (back-to-back sessions): $80/session
This fee includes all materials, availability for calls with parents in between sessions, and customized goal-development with progress reports for students.
We can schedule multiple sessions in advance, or calendar week by week…whatever fits your needs!

We can meet in person at your home, a local spot such as a library or coffee shop, or remotely!
-
Certainly! Though worktime is often most productive when parents give students some space or step away from the session, I’d be glad to have you join or observe anytime.

Educational therapy is a great fit for kids who need extra guidance and tools to thrive at school. Students diagnosed with ADHD, Dyslexia, Anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other neurodivergent profiles often benefit from educational therapy, as do gifted learners, and even neurotypical learners who need practice with self-advocacy and healthy communication at school.

EF coaching can benefit anyone who struggles with executive (“getting things done”) skills such as organization, planning, emotional regulation, time-management, task initiation or goal-directed persistence. Many factors, not just a diagnosis of ADHD, can have an impact on a person’s executive functioning.
